Sarah Proddow, ADHD and Executive Function Coach

Who I work with

I work with neurodivergent individuals across a range of settings, with a particular focus on:

  • Doctors and dentists navigating the demands of training, exams and clinical practice
  • Students and young adults managing academic workload, revision and exam preparation

If you are experiencing…

If any of these sound familiar, you are not alone, and coaching can help.

Time pressure

Feeling constantly under time pressure or behind, despite working hard. Underestimating how long things will take, running late, or struggling to stay on top of competing demands.

Difficulty starting tasks

Struggling to get started on tasks, particularly those that feel effortful or less interesting, or finding it hard to follow things through to completion.

Exam preparation and study skills

Finding it difficult to organise revision, retain large amounts of information, or prepare effectively for exams including resits or high-pressure assessments.

Reading and processing

Reading slowly, needing to re-read material multiple times, or finding it hard to extract and retain key information efficiently, including understanding and working with dyslexia where relevant.

Overwhelm

Feeling swamped by the volume of work, information and competing demands that come with medical training or study.

How I Support You

Practical, personalised coaching that works with the way your brain works, not against it.

Time management and organisation

Building practical systems to help you plan, prioritise and manage your workload. This includes strategies to externalise time, improve task initiation, and stay on track in busy, high-pressure environments.

Exam preparation and performance

Reviewing your current approach to revision and developing effective study strategies, including memory techniques and structuring revision. We also work on managing exam anxiety and performing under pressure.

Reading and processing efficiency

Improving reading speed, comprehension and retention, with strategies to help you extract key information more efficiently, drawing on both executive function coaching and dyslexia-informed approaches where relevant.

Understanding your neurodivergent profile

Developing an understanding of how your brain works, particularly following a recent diagnosis where applicable. We may explore your executive function profile and identify personalised strategies that play to your strengths.

Focus and emotional control

Strategies to support focus, reduce distraction and manage emotional responses, particularly in high-pressure or demanding situations. This includes tools to manage overwhelm and improve consistency.

Access to Work support

Guidance with the Access to Work process, including applications and making effective use of coaching support to meet the demands of your role.

What My Clients Say

Sarah was exceptional. Her sessions have been revolutionary, and I have learnt some lessons and perspectives that will underpin my world view for the rest of my life. I feel as though I had struck gold with Sarah.

SP

Sarah is a wonderful ADHD coach. Not only is she clear and patient when explaining things but she also creates a comfortable environment for me to share how I’m feeling. I genuinely feel such an improvement in how I handle my struggles now.
