The story behind the coaching, and why I do what I do.
I am an ADHD and Executive Function coach specialising in supporting neurodivergent doctors, dentists and students. I also hold a Level 5 qualification as a specialist dyslexia teacher, giving me a deeper understanding of how reading, processing and learning differences interact with executive function challenges.
My interest in neurodivergence began when my son was diagnosed with dyslexia. This experience led me to develop a deeper understanding of how people learn and process information differently, and sparked a lasting interest in supporting others facing similar challenges.
I went on to train as a specialist dyslexia teacher before becoming an ADHD and Executive Function coach, combining both areas to support individuals in a practical and personalised way.
I now work as the Lead Coach within an NHS Learning Support setting, supporting resident doctors and dentists navigating the demands of medical training, from managing workload and exam preparation to portfolio requirements and the day-to-day realities of working within the NHS.
Alongside this, I run a private coaching practice, working one-to-one with professionals and students who want practical strategies to manage their time, improve focus and perform at their best.
